ABOUT

I started cutting my brother’s hair when I was in middle school. By high school, I was also cutting my friends’ and family members’ hair. Back then, I didn’t quite know what I was doing, but I had so much fun—and I had a good eye for it.

After college, I spent a few years unsure about what to choose as a career. The options my bachelor’s degree made possible were not particularly exciting. Remembering how much I loved cutting hair, I decided to become a hairstylist. I loved the idea of making people feel good about themselves and helping them find a hairstyle that enhanced their features and self-esteem. It still amazes me how much of a difference a new hairstyle can make. Something so small can have such a huge impact. Doing hair turned out to be the perfect fit! I still love what I do, and I love having my own business. At the beginning of this journey, I didn’t realize how much I’d enjoy the friendships I’d develop with most of my clients. I look forward to going to work every day because I get to see good friends.
